The deep soul of shit

Crap-Italy. The deep soul of shit.
Crap-Italy. The deep soul of shit.

Line dividerDevoted to all those souls who think they are in a lot of shit or deep shit, for some reasons or another!

Consider this:

You can be shit faced, be shit out of luck or have shit for brains. With a little effort you can get your shit together, find a place for your shit or decide to shit or get off the pot. You can smoke shit, buy shit, sell shit, lose shit, find shit, forget shit, and tell others to eat shit and die. You can shit or go blind, have a shit fit or just shit your life away. People can be shit headed, shit brained, shit blinded, and shit over or shit on. Some people know their shit, while others can’t tell the difference between shit and shineola. There are lucky shits, dumb shits, crazy shits, and sweet shits. There is bullshit, and horse shit and chicken shit. You can throw shit, sling shit, catch shit, or duck when the shit hits the fan. You can take a shit, give a shit, or serve shit on a shingle. You can find yourself in deep shit, or be happier than a pig in shit. Some days are colder than shit, some days are hotter than shit, and some days are just plain shitty. Some music sounds like shit, things can look like shit, and there are times when you feel like shit. You can have too much shit, not enough shit, the right shit, the wrong shit or a lot of weird shit. You can carry shit, have a mountain of shit, or find yourself up shit creek without a paddle. Sometimes you really need this shit and sometimes you don’t want any shit at all. Sometimes everything you touch turns to shit. You swim in a lake of shit and come out smelling like a rose. You can be faster than shit, or slower than shit. Sometimes you’ll find shit on a stick, sometimes you’ll find shit everywhere, and then there are times you can’t find shit at all. You can slice shit, spread shit, dunk shit or jump shit, and some people just can’t cut the shit. When you stop to consider all the facts, SHIT is the basic building block of creation. This means the universe did not begin with a BIG BANG, but rather a BIG DUMP. Keep that in mind the next time you flush the toilet. And remember, once you know your shit, you don’t need to know anything else.

Carl William Brown

Old and new professions. To buy or not to buy fake likes and followers, that’s is the fucking matter! (This is the full title)

Karma is experience, and experience creates memory, and memory creates imagination and desire, and desire creates jobs and sometimes money and then karma again. If I buy some “Facebook likes” and “Twitter Followers”, that’s karma. I now have that memory that might give me the potential desire for having some sexual intercourses, so I look for some nice whores, and I walk into some red quarters of some excting towns, and there’s karma all over again.
Carl William Brown

Appearance is something absolute, but reality is not that way – everything is interdependent, not absolute.

No matter how you look at it, you can’t downplay the importance of “followers” and “Like” on the different social networks. More followers equals more popularity and, theoretically, higher influence. Having a million followers not only suggests that what that person says is important, but that by getting them to engage with you, you are also important, by extension. As an individual, that’s very powerful, but as a brand, it’s potentially priceless.

There are a number of known methods for increasing “followers” and “Like” counts. Fake profile businesses, or “click-farms”, are on the rise in third world countries like Indonesia, Pakistan and Bangladesh, selling 1000 followers or more for around $10. Ethics aside, the process is highly flawed, with many fake accounts being detected quickly and subsequently deleted by the social networks (along with whatever you paid for them).

However the incredible rise of social networking has inflated the desire of fame and the ways to expand the different profiles is relentless, from major celebrities to normal individuals, from big brands to small businesses. As the internet has become flooded with vendors of “likes” and “followers”, suspicion has followed that bogus endorsements may be widespread on social networks.

Purchasing “followers” and “Likes” might seem unethical, but in a deceptive world the matter is not so significant, and so many brands have either considered this practice or have already undertaken it. A recent report suggested the fake social media profile industry is worth hundreds of millions of dollars per year, so there’s definitely demand coming from somewhere.

Schemes include “click farms”, where low-paid workers in poor countries (Pakistan for instance) are paid to repeatedly click the like button, view videos or retweet links, while support can also be given by fake profiles or genuine accounts hijacked by hackers and used to endorse profiles without their knowledge.

At the same time there is another phenomenon in these places of the world, I know for example that, in spite of the legal difficulties, prostitution in Pakistan is now extremely prevalent, (in some areas of the country this old profession is strictly illegal and traditionally punishable by death).

As a matter of fact the state of the art in this Islamic nation, once relegated to dark alleys and small red-light districts, is now seeping into many neighborhoods of country’s urban centers. Reports indicate that since the period of civilian rule ended in 1977, times have changed and now the sex industry is bustling.

To give the gentle reader an idea, a local Pakistani prostitute can earn 2,000 to 3,000 rupees per day compared to the average monthly income of 2,500 rupees and since everything in this world is intertwined and interconnected, I would like to think that if you spend for instance 40 $, that is more or less 3,960 pakistani rupees (pkr), to buy good fake likes and followers, the money could be efficiently used by these internet businessmen to serve real good whores.

Anyway, it is certainly true that the big catch of buying followers is that people are going to get caught out. I’d suggest you don’t want your business wrapped up in that net. Buying likes is a tempting strategy for many… Something I would add is that by buying likes etc. you will greatly limit your engagement levels within your audience. Facebook’s “talking about” stats are a more compelling way to measure success and are a much better benchmark for a businesses to pursue. But, if you want to help the whores business, you may as well buy some fake likes and followers, just to support the oldest job in the world.
